Indianapolis Indians' Nyjer Morgan steals 5 bases

Last night's Indy Indians game was a picturesque, serene August evening complete with postgame fireworks, but Nyjer Morgan provided the real fireworks.
Approaching the plate as leadoff in the first inning, the outfielder drew a walk - then proceeded to steal 2nd base, 3rd base and eventually home. The next inning Morgan doubled and stole 3rd. Two innings later he recorded his FIFTH stolen base of the game, matching a club-record dating back to 1936. The former hockey player hit .305 last year with Indy and .299 with the Pittsburgh Pirates in September.
Eric Gordon Jr will be throwing out the first pitch tonight at Victory Field in a game also featuring future star Andrew McCutchen.
