Indy Hoops recap

Wednesday: J-O made a guest appearance at Conseco Fieldhouse, this time as a member of the Miami Heat. D-Wade's game-winning 3-pointer as time expired bounced in, and then out. Pacers continue to believe they can make a playoff spot...
Thursday: Duke and Purdue both lose, coach Billy Gillispie fired from UK. Is it my birthday?
Friday: While at my gf's parents' crib - amidst heavy drinking and charades - I observed Louisville trounce Arizona and Michigan State come back from 13-down to dethrone defending champion Kansas
Saturday: Indiana crowns 4 State champions today in High School Boys Basketball - including future IU PG and Mr Basketball Jordan Hulls leading an undefeated Bloomington South squad vs Ft. Wayne Snider; Pacers battle the Chicago Bulls at United Center - and it looks like Brandon Rush likes his new role as a starter, scoring 18 in the 1st Q; 'Nova takes on Pitt and Mizzou plays UConn
Sunday: Michigan State and Louisville go head-to-head at da 'Luc for a berth to the Final Four in Detroit; Tyler Hansbrough battles Blake Griffin for the #1 overall pick in the NBA draft. And finally, will Agent Zero make his '08-09 debut in Indy?

Lucky Stars for IU & Colts, Pacers plight

We finally have proof that cheating occurs and an embarrassed David Stern will still be commish after this. Big Market players and teams will still receive special treatment like a BigTen home game and the half-empty arenas will resemble high school-ish atmosphere. At least Conseco was trying when they ran their extended promotion last season making general admission $4.

David Stern NBA fix
It's becoming miserable to root for my Pacers now, something I've never felt in my lifetime. As a lazy Reds fan, I'm used to it. But I no longer have my 4 die-hard teams, and as they say, some of my childhood is gone. I have a single piece of memorabilia at my crib, a J-O coozie. Conversely, I have over a dozen each Colts/Hoosiers/Irish gear...
Can we attribute the downfall starting with Larry (as owner, not coach)? I suggest we trade J-O for multiple draft picks & Ben Wallace. It's not a fix-all, but it's the best path back to Title Contender, as long as Donnie's calling the shots again. Paxson and Skiles would love J-O and the Bulls can certainly afford to donate draft picks - they don't need any with that roster. Also, I'd be able to heckle Wallace up to 41 times for $4/game.

Hi! You may or may not know me that well, but you found your way here and now you're stuck with me. You're gonna read this whole post, if not scroll down further. You still here? Good.
My name is Pete, people call me SchrockStar. I will call you... later. For now, let me tell you about me. I recently moved into a house in Fishers/Noblesville near Deer Creek. I just started a new job at Walker Information doing IT stuff. I just spent a 5-day vacation in Bloomington that can only be retold w/ pictures. On Monday, I had a first-date w/ a waitress I met on Valentine's Day. The McD's PoY sat 5 ft from us at dinner. He wore a bib. She wasn't wearing any panties. And last night, J-O gave me his armband after sitting courtside in his career playoff game vs the Nets. These things make me happy. I also love music, women, Hoosiers and life; and I couldn't care less if I suddenly died tomorrow. I've lost count how many times I've blacked out in 2006 and it's only April. I don't make plans on Sundays, other than to watch my Colts. I'm not cocky... unless it's stuff I'm great at, like having sex with your girlfriend. At some point in my life, I'll act responsible and sane - if I make it that far. Until then, holler if ya hear me.
